ECELAW Who Owns the Coast 2010
The workshop material for the Who Owns the Coast, Nova Scotia workshop series are now available. To access click on Detailed Search and check the box beside Summary Series IV: The Coast. Enter a title, keyword, or author in the Search String, identify what you have entered and then hit search.
The East Coast Environmental Law Library is a free and easy-to-use research tool containing current environmental law information that is of interest to all Atlantic Canadians. Our online resource allows users to access a large collection of environmental case law, legislation, and publications on the following topics: Access to Information, climate change & air quality, contaminated sites, development & land use planning, drinking water, energy, environmental enforcement, marine / freshwater & coastal areas, mining, oil & gas activity, sustainable development, toxic substances (including insecticides and pesticides), waste management, and wildlife & biodiversity.
Although we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information contained in the Library is comprehensive, and up-to-date, we warn that it may lack completeness. If you find an error in the Library, or if you have a suggestion to make about an addition to the Library, please let us know by emailing us at admin@ecelaw.ca.
How to Search the ECELAW Library
There are two distinctive ways to search the ECELAW library.
- Detailed Search - This function allows you to select from a pre-determined list of environmental law topics. You can refine your search within a topic by entering in a keyword. You can narrow the scope of your research request even further by choosing what type of information you want to receive; for example, case law, legislation or publications.
- Generic Search - This function allows you to search all environmental law topics at once by entering in a keyword.
