Help us provide environmental law services to communities throughout Atlantic Canada. With your financial support, ECELAW can increase the accessibility, enforceability and effectiveness of environmental laws in Atlantic Canada. ECELAW’s goal is to use the legal system to protect the environment and build a sustainable future. 

Since 2007, ECELAW has been helping Atlantic Canadians by

• providing expert legal advice to individuals and to community and environmental groups, seeking environmental justice
• getting involved in environmental law reform discussions
• helping to build the capacity of the environmental movement on the East Coast
• carrying out needed legal and policy research
• offering opportunities for practical experience to the next generation of young environmental lawyers
• providing educational resources and increasing public awareness of environmental laws in Atlantic Canada.
