Brian has an educational background in both Economics and Law. He attended Saint Francis Xavier University and then went on to graduate from Schulich Schoolof Law at Dalhousie in 1988. Brian started at legal aid and over the course of his career has been an associate at a small litigation firm, started his own firm, been partner in a mid-sized firm and eventually teamed up with another like-minded lawyer to found McKiggan Hebert Lawyers in 2013. Brian’s practice areas and interests include personal injury law, business law, Aboriginal Law, and environmental law. He believes it is important to make the world a better place with both big and small efforts and believes that lawyers should take on cases that cry out for justice. Brian is pleased to be involved with the Board of Directors at ECELAW and is excited to help work with this long-standing environmental organization.
