Sara Seck

Osgoode Hall Law School) is an Associate Professor at the Schulich
School of Law and Marine & Environmental Law Institute at Dalhousie
University. Prior to joining Dalhousie in 2017, she served on the
faculty of an Ontario law school for 10 years. At Dalhousie, Sara
teaches in the areas of environmental law, business and environment,
and private international law. In 2015, Seck was the recipient of the
Emerging Scholarship Award from the Academy of Environmental Law
of the IUCN (World Conservation Union) in recognition of her research
contributions on sustainable mining and international environmental
law. Among other publications, she is a co-editor of Global
Environmental Change and Innovation in International Law
(Cambridge University Press, 2017). She is affiliated in a volunteer
capacity with many international associations, and currently serves as
the deputy director for North America for the Global Network on the
Study of Human Rights and the Environme
