This Giving Tuesday, Support Public-Interest Environmental Law in Atlantic Canada

Today is Giving Tuesday—a day to spread the love and use charitable giving to champion the causes that matter to you.

East Coast Environmental Law turned 15 years old in 2022, and we feel so proud and privileged when we think about what that means.

15 years of East Coast Environmental Law means 15 years of advocacy for progressive environmental law and policy reform in Atlantic Canada, 15 years of providing legal capacity to local organizations working to build a more just and sustainable world, and 15 years of law student mentorship that promotes the value of public-interest environmental law.

As a three-lawyer team supported by a volunteer Board of Directors, East Coast Environmental Law strives to make six hands feel like twenty. We work hard to share our legal skills to provide legal information and pro bono support to members of the public throughout the region who need guidance as they navigate environmental laws and environmental decision-making processes.

This Giving Tuesday, please support East Coast Environmental Law by making a one-time donation or signing up for monthly giving through our charity profile at Canada Helps. Your donation will be put towards the core programs and services through which we provide environmental law information and support to community groups and members of the public throughout Atlantic Canada.

If you can't donate today, you can still make a difference by sharing this newsletter with friends, family members, or colleagues and helping to spread the word!

Thank you for empowering us to share our skills where they're needed.
